In this 10 minute video, Rupert explains that there is only Awareness and that it is only through Awareness knowing itself that life is experienced. At first, this may seem difficult to understand until Rupert takes us step-by-step through the process and using metaphors to show that the mind truly does not know anything and that Awareness is always the only point of experience.

Thank you and go on!
Thoughts dont know but the mind DOES know. When we need information we go to the mind, when we need to write we use the mind to remember and analyse. I know I am aware, I have awareness as a faculty.
Awareness is not a faculty, it is what we are.
Listening to this reminds me of myself, with 17 years of self-inquiry, mainly via Theravadin Buddhism and Vipassana and the question of identity, no-self and emptiness would come up and fly right over my head, leaving me to idealise Nibbana (Nirvana) as some mystical experience or heaven that was probably beyond the likes of me. Today, I am blessed with this understanding as I go into radio and chemotherapy for cancer. My gratitude flows over for Rupert and one or two others guidance.
