This 7 minute audio is Part 2 of a 2 part series from Adyashanti that points us to a different way to think about meditation. His teachings are an open invitation to stop, inquire, and recognize what is true and liberating at the core of all existence.
In this beautifully produced 5 minute video, Alan explains that there is essentially only one energy disguised in infinite forms and movements, and at the center of it all is “That” which you are.
In this great six minute video clip from Rupert, he explains that there is never anything other than ever-present awareness and EVERYTHING else is only a fabrication of the mind.
In this 15 minute video from Rupert, he helps us gain a deeper understanding of Awareness itself. One can come to an understanding that their true nature is Awareness itself, but what is Awareness and can it come and go (as in the case of death or deep sleep)?
In this six minute video, Rupert responds to a questioner who wants to know why infinite awareness manifests as form. Let’s listen in on Rupert’s brilliant response…
In this 8 minute video, Rupert explains that the “State of Bliss” that is often described as a benefit of “Enlightenment” is actually a temporary state. It is a bubbling over of the peace, joy and happiness that is the ever-present perfume of our true nature. Depending on many variables, this perfume can fluctuate greatly in intensity creating states of joy and bliss that can come and go.
This 7 minute clip is part 2 of 2 with Alan Watts taking a closer examination at the reality of the ego (person-hood). He dives into it by explaining that the ego is simply a symbol, a method of tagging people, but ultimately it isn’t real. This video stands on its own, but you can watch Part 1 here:
Here is a wonderful 6 minute guided meditation from Adyashanti called “There is Only Truth”. Adyashanti guides you to the realization that unity is ever-present, and all that is required of you is a stepping back from the belief that unity isn’t already existing here and now. Just sit back, relax and enjoy!
In this 13 minute video, Rupert helps us to understand that those who seek to get rid of desire or get rid (or control) fear are on a futile quest since desire and fear are the very nature (or attributes) of the person (separate self, mind). The only way desire and fear can ever be shed is through the ending of the idea of a separate self.
This extremely insightful five minute video from Alan reminds us that it is all about the end of effort (surrender) rather than decision making and forcefulness effort. This understanding can ultimately lead to overcoming the illusion of having a separate ego.
In this six minute video clip from Jeff Foster, we take a closer look at the shortcomings of strict non-dual views and realize that perhaps the role of “Awakening” in our lives is more about the ability to “honor the wave while knowing the ocean.”
In this fantastic 15 minute video, Rupert responds to a woman who wants to know what happens to her faith in God and prayer now that she has recognised her essential infinite being. Rupert explains that God is the very self of each of us and therefore any effort in praying to an outside God is actually directed away from God and that what was once regarded as faith is now simply a case of surrender. Let’s listen to these wise response to this common question…
In this 9 minute video, Rupert describes the reality of what is happening as he films a trip from England to the U.S. This video sheds a different light on the reality of the activities of life as one realizes the “Truth” of what is happening from the perspective of awareness itself.
In this short 5 minute video from Adyashanti, you will hear a message that is the opposite of what most are told about following a path to find the “Self”. He explains that over 99% of what people do to wake up is actually reinforcing the dream state. Short video featuring an incredible message.
In this 9 minute video, we find 57 quotes from Nisargadatta Maharaj which points to his core teachings. Nothing is needed other than the simple truths revealed in these quotes to reach the highest knowledge and understanding of who we truly are. You may need to keep the “pause” button handy as some of these quotes change a bit too fast 🙂
PLEASE NOTE: The first 12 seconds of this video is damaged and will clear up around 13 seconds in.
Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj, a sage of the highest order, a tremendously gifted teacher who spoke directly from Absolute “pure Awareness, unborn Reality,” and thus from real spiritual authority.
This is Part 4 of a five part split from rare video that was recorded circa 1979 of a Satsang in the apartment of Nisargadatta Maharaj in Mumbai where he would invite strangers into his home and discuss enlightenment with them. This video was not known to exist until January 2007 when Mulappartan, one of the original translators of Nisargadatta Maharaj released an old VHS tape containing this historical Satsang.
A very common question among seekers involves the idea that they can’t seem to locate this “Awareness” within themselves. In this 10 minute video from Rupert he uses his simplistic method of teaching to help anyone realize the “Awareness” at the center of all experience.
In this nine minute audio from Roger Castillo (a student of Ramesh Balsekar), he explains what Nisargadatta Maharaj meant by the directive “Abide in the ‘I Am'”. His very clear and interesting explanation also helps us to understand how to reduce our overthinking by realizing that this thinking that we believe will bring us what we want is actually the cause of our suffering.
